The Meaning of America

Friends,

As boys, some of us were raised to aspire to be Eagle Scouts. As scouts we were taught the Scout Law. The Scout Law is a 12 point list of positive character traits.

If we examine Donald J. Trump, it’s clear he is the moral antithesis of an Eagle Scout. Consider the 12 traits found in the Scout Law. He has not one.

The Scout Law says a Scout is:

Trustworthy

Loyal

Helpful

Friendly

Courteous

Kind

Obedient

Cheerful

Thrifty

Brave

Clean and

Reverent.

Trump has none of these traits. He is the worst example for kids of what a man and a leader should be like. He is a lying, backstabbing, disloyal, self-absorbed, phony, rude,mean-spirited, lawless, angry, cowardly, foul mouthed,  school yard bully who worships his own image.

Somehow 63 Million Americans saw fit to vote for him. Let’s pray to God it doesn’t happen again.
