After every school shooting the Gun lobby argues we should have more armed guards at schools. That is not the solution.
You do not stop gun violence & mass shootings with more guns. Military style guns like ARs and AKs are the weapons of choice of mass shooters. Common sense dictates that we need to outlaw the sale of military style weapons to civilians. So long as we arm the public for mass shootings, we will have mass shootings. We have to stop arming the public for mass shootings.
The solution is not complicated. Finding political leaders who have the courage to implement the solution is the real problem.
