Friends – The United States flag flies at half-staff when the nation is in mourning. The president  can order flags to fly at half-staff following a National Tragedy. We are in the midst of a national tragedy. Over 50,000 Americans have died in a matter of weeks. To mourn the death of so many Americans and this national tragedy please lower your flags.

While the president can order flags to fly at half-staff he has not issued such an order. We don’t need an order or permission to mourn the loss of our countrymen. We should do it because it’s right
